I. List your duties over this last
review period.
My main duties have centered around the maintenance and
upgrade of the Tcom Lab inventory system. This has allowed me to
gain a better understanding of Tcom equipment as well as assist
other students with such equipment.
II. What do you view as your major
strengths which were applied to the above duties?
My major strengths include my aptitude and persistence
in learning and utilizing the network resources. This has allowed
me to strengthen my program application knowledge while
establishing a dynamic database system for continous use at DeVry.
III. What are the major weaknesses or
shortcomings in performing the duties listed?
My main obstracles are the amount of experience with
networks, databases and the time I can spend working. These
limitations have kept progress at a moderate rate.
IV. What goals or improvement
expectations do you have for the coming terms, and how do you
plan on overcoming weaknesses listed in III above?
To extend the database and documentation system into the
LAN lab; thus, providing a common work and training platform for
both labs. Co-worker participation will overcome the time
limitation imposed by my student status.
