Talk about being in the right spot at the right time, by the time I was completing my BS in Telecommunications Management, a professor spot became available at DeVry, the V.A. was agreeing to allow the Mayo Clinic to fix my leg, and I was beginning to enjoy living in Kansas City. I usually say this is a case of "I was good enough and they were in need enough." Either way, it provided a beneficial platform in which to work and get my leg fixed. Most important, was getting the surgeries I needed.

Duties:
Researched, assembled, and developed class and lab courses related to telecommunications
Coordinated eighteen simultaneous telecommunications projects
Functioned in both faculty and administrative positions
Served as liaison between lab equipment and curriculum needs
Study and work with a wide variety of technology
Achievements:
Completed CNA certification, Microsoft NT and CCNA training
Organized the telecommunications capstone senior project and integration of the program assessment process for accreditation efforts
Contributed to an inter-campus VPN project
Received an "Excellence award for Best Keeper" for teaching practices and innovations
Received the "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" recognition award three times
