Student Projects
Attendance is required for the first three weeks of the term.
This provides for a complete introduction to the course
mechanics, course deliverables, and project deliverables. It also
provides time to evaluate and schedule seminars for the course as
well as answer questions.
You should remember that you really have two clients in Senior
Project: your client and the course requirements. The client will
have one set of deliverables and the course will have all those
plus course specifice deliverables for grading and analysis on
the performance of the team and its members. This is outlined in
the TCM490
Course Deliverable Check-Off List.
The items from the Course Deliverable Check-Off List are
outlined in the "Starter" project management file: tcm490-projectoutline.mpp.
This project file has the initial framework for the course.
Course
Material Relationship. This link provides a graphic view and
explains the course deliverables produced during each project
phase for grading.

- Status Reports: Week-7 and Week-8. Status Reports are no longer done on a
weekly basis. Note that these reports clearly identify
tasks by number and percentages of completion. They also
provide a "Detail" paragraph below for
additional information. This format provides information
and detail to the reader in a manner that is easy to
access and read; however, it can make reports long. The
detail section could be reduced and the information kept
in a journal. If the reader needs more detail, it can be
requested.
