TCM490: Telecommunications
Management Senior Project
Internet Communications (email, chat, messaging and Net Etiquette)
Introduction
Professional communications via the
Internet is a requirement for managers. A large range of jargon
has evolved under electronic communications, usually referred to
as "net lingo." The social graces associated with
communications has also moved to the electronic realm, usually
referred to as "net etiquette." If you familiar with
how to conduct yourself professionally in oral and written
communications, you should have little trouble adapting to
electronic communications.
