This document covers both Second Life (SL) and Real-Life (RL) goods and services. My endeavors are in both SL and RL. Products matching RL good will generally have a HUD with links to those products.

Real Life goods are protected under Copyrights and IP laws. The same laws apply to Second Life. SL goods have permissions that can be set in combination to protect Intellectual Properties (IP) and affect the use and transfer of goods.

My main products are artwork, textures, patterns and designs from that artwork and other creations. I also do novelty labels for various RL products for lampoon, spoof and imitation. At this point, most objects are 3^rd Party products I’ve purchased with full permission (FP) to use in my product. Third Party items such as clothing, picture frames, home decorum, scripts and animations come with their own TOS for my use and resale.

The IP that I have total control over are the textures, which is any digital image in any form uploaded for resale. FP textures are displayed and sold at AJ’s Texture Gallery. Information on the RL textile equivalent is available on web browsers at the sites. Contact AJ for any questions or requests for RL use.

TRY BEFORE BUY

There are no refunds in SL. If there is an exception to this, it will be noted in the items document.

I intend to make previewing and testing of the clothes and texture as easy and accessible as possible.

SECOND LIFE PERMISSIONS

The Products I will be producing will come in one of three permissions.

1. Copy Permissions.

This allows the purchaser to copy the texture or object as many times as desired. The UUID of the item in inventory can be used with objects that use textures via UUIDs.

2. Transfer Permissions.

This allows the purchaser to give or sale the texture or object to someone else.

1. Full Permissions.

This allows the purchaser to download to their computer for work and modifications, then for uploading for personal or business use. FP normal use allows for the following.

• Downloading to your computer.

• Modifications for use in your textures for upload to Second Life.

• Use and modification for use as screensavers on your personal devices (cell phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop) • NOT ALLOWED: use in any real world or real-life products in its default or modified forms.

• NOT ALLOWED: transfer to another person, business or entity in its default forms.

DEMOS & HOLOVEND VIEW

DEMO items are transfer only and have a limited life span and restrictions for use and rezzing.

The new product layout includes demo products and Casper HoloVendors for all products. The texture vendors display their full set for viewing. Textures can be viewed in collection sets on Demo Cubes with limited lifetime. Objects like framed pictures and furniture will have a lifespan of several hours to a couple of days.

REAL LIFE PERMISSIONS

My artwork, textures, patterns, and designs are available in Real Life from third Party manufacturers. The manufacturers that I use handle all the interactions and transactions for the purchase of their goods with my designs. I’ve purchased products from each company, and I am quite happy with quality and price from each. Please check their websites for the TOS on their goods. These manufacturers include the following.

• Society6.com : A good wide variety of excellent quality goods of clothing to decorum. The all-over graphic tee is a great match for the oversized tee in SL. $$$

• RedBubble.com : A good wide variety of excellent quality goods of clothing to decorum. A similar variety like Society6 with lesser costs and some design cutbacks. Their all-over graphic t-shirt is the comparable for the oversized tee in SL. $$

• TeePublic.com : Mostly Tee shirts, baseball Tees, and a few other items. A division of Red Bubble that deals in high resolution transparencies for products. Great match for transparency patch shirts in SL. $

• SpoonFlower.com : A textile and fabric shop with a bunch of fabric types. An excellent quality line of textiles for the RL DIY person. Grab the sample box of all the fabrics before buying any yards or bolts. I purchase swatches of new designs before they’re available for public purchase. $$

ORIGINAL ARTWORK & REPRODUCTIONS

Outside of personal contact, I have not made any arrangements for display and sale of works since the start of COVID and galleries closing.
